Your Plot Is the Income Engine
In Spin A Keycap, the plot is not decorative — it is the sole source of passive income. Every slot on your plot represents a cash-per-second stream tied to the keycap placed there. The total output is the sum of all placed keycaps. This means plot management is the highest-leverage skill in the game, more impactful than luck on any single roll.
Optimization has two axes: coverage (how many slots are filled) and quality (how strong each placement is). Coverage always comes first because multiplying by zero — an empty slot — removes that stream entirely. Quality optimization follows once full coverage is achieved.
Keycap Replacement Strategy
Whenever you roll a new keycap, compare it against your weakest current placement — not your strongest. If the new roll beats the bottom slot, swap immediately. If it does not, you may still keep it in inventory for the next comparison unless inventory limits apply.
Avoid emotional attachment to visually appealing keycaps if a uglier common beats them on income. This is a tycoon, not a fashion show — though the "flex your Keycaps" social feature means aesthetics matter for showing off once income is stable.
Slot Priority Framework
If plot slots unlock progressively, prioritize filling newly unlocked slots before upgrading existing ones. A new empty slot adds a full new income stream. Upgrading an existing slot only adds the difference between old and new keycap values.
When all slots are equal priority, target the lowest cash-per-second placement for every swap. Track mentally which slot holds your common caps and replace that first when a rare or better roll appears.

- Re-check entire plot before logout
Balancing Income and Flex
The official description encourages showing off your collection to other players on the six-player server. Once income is stable, you might prioritize visually rare INSANE keycaps in prominent slots even if a slightly higher CPS config exists elsewhere. For competitive progression, income wins. For social flex, arrange your best-looking caps front and center.
